Bloody hell!! It’s been more than two months since I blogged!! For that matter, 2018 is already two months old and there’s been so much activity in my life that I’ve been wanting to share with you guys! The mental list that I maintain is overflowing with the additions that multiply by the minute!
Just to inform you, I do not intend to give you a recap of each day though there would be sufficient entertaining matter, believe me!!
So where do I start!?
1) Hope you guys are aware that I drive to work! If you aren’t, kindly make note of the same. Oh this applies only to those in Navi Mumbai! I’m not that pathetic a driver but I’m no good either! When I turn the engine on and get set going, there’s a switch of avatar into my favorite character; ‘Letty Ortiz’ from Fast and Furious. Period. Haha!! Just joking!!! PLEASE don’t get my license revoked. I haven’t caused any accidents barring the two times in one week that I bumped my bumper. Poor Camy 😦 Excuse me for having forgotten to do a formal introduction. ‘Camy’ is my car. She got the name from ‘Camellia’, the white flower, that symbolizes love, affection and admiration. She needs all of that from you guys given I drive her!!
2) I’m planning to get in touch with DC comics. If there’s a Wonder Woman, there can very well be a character on Disaster! “Disaster Dame” sounds good? I’ve already qualified in terms of discovering my full powers. For those of you who doubt my strength, please see the pictorial evidence and be warned. Synopsis:- A squabble with a friend at work + PMS resulted in increased ventilation in our room! My arm went through one of the twelve glass panes on the door. Of course no piece of it entered my body so I was safe but the scars I show off rather proudly! I could give you many more instances to justify the title but I’d rather save those for the movie plot! 😛
P.S. I think PMS ought to be redefined before it loses its merit. I find myself using that excuse almost everyday of the month!
3) I turned a year older biologically. Mentally I don’t see myself growing up in the near future, neither do those around me. Physically, I try not to grow horizontally!
4) I’m pretty sure many of you think I’ve the mannerisms of an animal. Something I did last month will only substantiate those thoughts! I got a photoshoot done at the Borivali National Park! PP and I were to reach Borivali for a friend’s wedding but we made it in time for the reception! Aaah, you can’t blame us! Panvel to Borivali would have been far easier and quicker had we taken a flight from Pune! 😛 To make the most of the journey, I urged PP to take me to the National Park to get myself clicked! Fortunately, we came across no animals! Besides, my pink gown was a good disguise! 😛
5) I needed a change. So I went and chopped off my tresses. End of the Rapunzel era. For those who think long hair suited me better, remember it ain’t a jigsaw puzzle!
6) Prayers, crossed fingers and a file full of unverified documents fetched me a ten year US Visa!! My Harry Potter series come out of the shelf for what must be the 297th time! Visiting the Universal Studios without a last-minute-revision could easily be my worst nightmare! US also means, getting to meet my bestie!!!!I can hardly contain my excitement! USA, here we come!
I think I’ve done justice to what I believe were the major events that took place.. Mind you, I even took the efforts to put them down chronologically!
My next blog would be a month later when I would be bursting with stuff to tell you from my US visit!
